How to protect your furniture:

1-Year or 3-Year Home Service Program (If Purchased)
CITY Furniture will perform this service in your home, in the CITY Furniture trading area within the state of Florida. Clearance and electronics are not covered. As a bonus, if a claim is not made during the 1-year or 3-year term, CITY Furniture will reimburse the full amount as an in-store gift certificate. Service within the first 30 days does not affect your gift certificate. For information call (954) 718-3344.

Cancelling Your Service Program
In the event that you cancel this service program, you shall receive a refund equal to 90% of the unearned pro rata premium less any claims that have been paid, or less the cost of repairs made on behalf of the warranty holder.
What does my plan cover:
- Manufacturer Defects: The plan covers repair or replacement of furniture due to manufacturer's defects in workmanship or materials. Coverage lasts for either one (1) year or three (3) years from the date of delivery, depending on the specific terms.

Manufacturer Warranty: If a manufacturer’s warranty claim is denied as voided because of missing tags or the existence of stains, the plan will provide for the repair or replacement service regardless of the existence of tags or staining.

Accidental Damage: CITY will repair or replace any furniture with damage caused by accidental scratches, rips, tears, burns, or watermarks.

Replacement: If the covered product cannot be repaired, or if repair costs exceed the original purchase price, or if necessary parts are no longer available, CITY will replace the product with one of similar quality and features. They do not guarantee exact color match or dye lots. Parts will be replaced at CITY’s option with those of like kind and quality as solely determined by CITY and may be new or remanufactured.

Matching Sets: If the covered product is part of a matching set and needs replacement, the entire set may be replaced at the CITY's discretion, not exceeding the original purchase price of the covered product and the set.

LTO Arrangements: For products acquired under a Lease-to-Own (LTO) arrangement, any cash settlement or refund will be paid to the owner of the covered product (typically the Lessor) if ownership has been transferred. Otherwise, refunds or credits will be handled according to the terms of the LTO agreement. Lessees are responsible for maintaining the covered product during the lease period, except as required by law.

Accidental Stains to Upholstered Products and Area Rugs: CITY will provide stain removal services for stains caused by common household foods, beverages, ink, or human bodily fluids during normal product use, in a residential setting, by first providing professional stain removal advice and/or stain removal cleaners or kits and, if the stain persists, the stained area will be serviced by a professional stain removal technician. You must reasonably cooperate with CITY in its efforts to perform its obligations under this Agreement. This Agreement is not a cleaning contract and does not cover the cleaning of covered products soiled through daily use
What's not covered:
- Abuse, misuse, or reckless, willful, or intentional acts
- Any damage caused by pets
- Damage or odor resulting from improper storage conditions
- Damage or stains caused by fire, smoke, flood, or other natural disaster, theft, or vandalism
- Damage caused by continual, day-to-day use, or failure to take sufficient care to protect the product
- Usage for commercial purposes.
- Damage not reported within thirty (30) days of occurrence or stains not reported with five (5) days of occurrence.
- Products with removed, modified, or altered construction.
- Clearance, floor model, or “as-is” products
- Natural characteristics or markings on fabric, leather, wood, or marble
- Normal wear and tear
- Electronics (except electronic components of a covered product)
- Damage caused by 3rd party repairs not authorized by CITY
- Mattress stains, discoloration, or odors except as otherwise provided for herein
- Fading or soiling
Manufacturer's Warranty:
Many manufacturers who provide a warranty prefer to handle warranty claims directly. Some manufacturers prefer CITY Furniture to assist in warranty service. Should assistance be necessary, please contact the CITY Furniture Warranty Department through Customer Service. CITY Furniture will charge a fee for delivery and/or pick up charges if incurred while handling the manufacturer’s warranty claim.
For quality control purposes and verification, we reserve the right to request photographs of the damaged item(s) prior to processing a warranty claim.
What does the manufacturer warranty cover?
- Loss of use or time, inconvenience, expense or travel while parts are in the process of replacement or repair is in progress.
- Coverage of leather and fabric against fading or discoloration from exposure to elements, oils, spills, fluids or chemicals.
- Buckling or splitting of veneers resulting from exposure to moisture and/or heat. In no event shall CITY Furniture’s responsibility exceed the value of the originally purchased item. Call (954) 718-3344 for service.
